March 26th this year. the lights in the hotel were turned off in a symbolic gesture of care for the planet by joining the WWF campaign “Earth Hour” WWF “. From 8:30 PM to 9:30 PM, the lights in the common area were turned off for 60 minutes, encouraging you to join our campaign by reducing electricity consumption during this shutdown time.
Humanitarian aid in Ukraine
From the beginning of the conflict in Ukraine, the hotel has been involved in relief efforts in connection with the ongoing war. Being in solidarity with the team of employees, which to a large extent consists of people of Ukrainian origin, the hotel is not indifferent to their tragedy and surrounds them with their help. In March, humanitarian aid was organized and food was purchased, including the most needed products. The delegation from the hotel went to the border and gave gifts to those in need, and on the way back they took more people who would find their safe shelter in our facility.

We are not indifferent to the situation with our eastern neighbours. In these difficult times, we are opening #platinumhearts widely for our team of Ukrainian nationality. We are with our employees, we support them with a warm word and surround them with help. We have prepared a wide range of help for our colleagues and their families.
Great Orchestra of Christmas Charity 2022
This year on January 30th, 30th jubilee final of the Great Orchestra of Christmas Charity took place, and we decided to join this action. In 2022, the Orchestra played to ensure the highest standards of diagnosis and treatment of eyesight in children. Platinum Mountain Hotel & SPA joined the regional staff of the Great Orchestra of Christmas Charity and a donation box appeared at our reception, which was handed over to volunteers on the day of the finals. The amount collected during the 30th final at the Platinum Mountain Hotel & SPA is 832,26 PLN.
Christmas action with Influencers
A unique charity event with the participation of influencers invited by us for the local Orphanage named after Maria Konopnicka in Szklarska Poręba. Among the invited guests were the artist, Hanna Bakuła, the theater and film actor Borys Szyc, and the photographer and influencer Sylwia Bomba. The baubles will be donated to the Orphanage. Maria Konopnicka in Szklarska Poręba, which we regularly support.
Children’s Day with the Children’s Home
The last Children’s Day was not only a special day for us, but most of all for the children from the Children’s Home. Maria Konopnicka in Szklarska Poręba, for which we have prepared a day filled with attractions. Children played among their favourite fairy-tales’ characters, Elsa and Olaf the Snowman from Frozen, Minnie, Daisy, Donald Duck and of course Mickey Mouse. The animators have prepared a series of integration games for children and face painting which arouses the greatest interest among the youngest. At the very end of such an exciting day, our Chef gave munchkins’ a delicious cake.
Social campaign “Poland in Blue”
On April 2nd, 2021, Platinum Mountain Hotel & SPA joined the social campaign “Poland in Blue”, which is a gesture of solidarity with autistic people and, above all, raising awareness of the autism spectrum. On that day, our hotel flashed blue to express its support and to take up a socially important topic.
